An new take on Tarot

I bought this game because I like oracle cards and the card artwork was really pretty! It was a fun little activity and then a therapy exercise. It was pretty easy once I figured out the game! My favorite part is I can use it as an oracle deck with an exercise booklet.

Pretty, but my booklet is also falling apart

I bought this game at Gencon. I am afraid, since the other review has also had issue with the binding, that the binding is just defective in some models. With simply looking at it, multiple pages began falling out of it's bindings. I just played through it, and now two pages are completely out. I am very disappointed because I will definitely have to look through it in the future, and unlike the previous reviewer, I have neither the skill or the will to bind it myself.

If the binding worked, I would say this is a very neat oracle deck. I will definitely need to look at the booklet in the future though, which will inevitably lead to the pages falling out. But, as a therapist, I appreciate the booklet and purpose of this. However, maybe it is because I haven't hit the waypoints yet, but I don't really understand how some of the text relates to the cards and the game? Also, there are spreads on the top left of the book and I am not sure what they mean in relation to the cards. Or are they just decoration?

A beautiful game.

Update as of 4/30 - moving to 5 stars! My book issue must have been a one-off. I was sent a replacement and it has no binding issues. ❤️

Original review - Lovely play style, and the cards are gorgeous. My only complaint is pages from the rule book in my set came loose very easily. I’m sure I can find a way to rebind them, but I have quite a few loose pages after only playing twice.

The card quality is fantastic, though!
